Mim is a music producer, Foley artist and sound designer based in Savannah, Georgia. His music can best be described as a blend of dusty lofi textures and vintage samples contrasted by sharp, innovative electronic elements. In his youth, he played drum set, learned piano and sang in choirs. His passion for music production emerged from recording voice memos on his phone, depecting the natural sounds of the world around him. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he established the bedroom hip-hop collective No^a (nova) with his best friend in 2016. He is now honing his skills in Sound Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

 

Mim has since released 20 singles, a 6 track EP, 2 remixes for artists Empire Of The Sun and Aries, and has had his music played by the likes of Tennyson, Lakey Inspired, Duskus and TheJuneyBoy. He has also collaborated with international artists Richard Carter, John Kamel and Orchidbae.
