

Anthony Staples is a music producer, Foley artist and sound designer based in Savannah, Georgia. His music can best be described as a blend of dusty lo-fi textures and vintage samples contrasted by sharp, innovative electronic elements. In his youth he taught himself piano and currently plays drums for Candy Truck, an emerging Savannah skate punk band. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he established the bedroom hip-hop collective Young Nova with his best friend in 2016. He graduated with a BFA in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is an academic member of the Cinema Audio Society.
Since starting his solo artist project Mim in 2019, Anthony has released over 30 singles, a 6 track EP and a 12 track mixtape. He has credits on multiple SCAD productions which include Composer, Dialogue Editor, Production Audio Mixer and Foley Artist. He has also collaborated with international artists Richard Carter, John Kamel and Orchidbae.
